Jérôme grew up near Lyon, France. He started artistic gymnastics at the age of four and began competing two years later. Motivated by a desire to learn and to achieve perfection, he competed for 16 years.
While studying mechanical computer-integrated manufacturing, a quote from Confucius, “Choose a job you love, and you will not have to work a single day in your life” inspired him. Overnight, he left for Canada and discovered circus arts at the National Circus School in Montreal. Jérôme specializes in aerial straps and hand to hand.
Jérôme took part in the prestigious Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain where he received a bronze medal for the presentation of his aerial straps act.
Jérôme has worked with circus companies on every continent. Since 2017 he has performed in Crystal, Cirque du Soleil’s first show on ice. Jerome brought his specialty to a new level, both by working on a slippery surface and performing in an aerial duo with figure skaters.
“I aim to coach our students to their highest level possible. Every skill or movement is interesting if you find an artistic way to execute it.”
